Welcome to an exploration of spaces through improvising/ moving together. We start with an introduction to find a group focus and continue exploring through a score. Everyone is welcome!
Explore Stockholm Event 1 – LUNCH JAM
25th of June 12-13 LUNCHJAM at the City Hall. A fascinating and impressive building. We will explore the outdoor surroundings which give plenty of inspiration for movement. If you want to go inside – you can join a guided tour afterwards.
Meeting point: Walk trough the big doors to the open air square which is part of the building. We meet by the tree.
Explore Stockholm Event 2 – MORNING MOVEMENT
26th of june 9-10 MORNING MOVEMENT at Skeppsholmen, an island in the middle of Stockholm. We meet at a wooden deck with a good view of the town. Stockholm is a city of water and islands, you get a feeling of it in a space like this. Four of Stockholms 74 museums are located nearby: Nationalmuseet, Östasiatiska, Arkitekturmuseet and our favorite Moderna Museet
Meeting point: Cross the bridge Skeppsholmsbron to the island Skeppsholmen and meet us where the bridge ends. Right side.
Explore Stockholm Event 3 – EVENING SCORE
26th of june 18-19.30 EVENING SCORE in Vitabergsparken with JAM/PICNIC. The parks of Stockholm are outdoor livingrooms for all of us. We will move through the parc and stop on some chosen spots to explore them further. We will end with a picnic so bring food and drink if you want to join. Those who want to can than continue dancing in the last location.
Meeting point: In front of the church Sofia Kyrka which is in the Park.

How?
SKÄLVA will guide the group into an exploration of the site. You as a participants are always free to do what you like; pause/ rest as well as move/ dance.
What is SKÄLVA?
SKÄLVA is an Artist Duo which consists of Jenny Simm and Ulrika Berge. We explore spaces through group processes and movement. We are inspired by a variety of different body practices such as contact improvisation, street dance, running, parkour.
Who can come?
The event is open for all and free of charge.
