Carlie: "The cell phone is off. It implies you are more important than a random call, and I wants to be fully present for our day out,"1
 
Taylor: "Your colleagues have a meeting that concerns you, without inviting you"2
 
Carlie: "They do all of this patting and clutching of hands that maybe implies closeness but is actually about one politician stamping his authority over the other."3
 
Taylor: "Do go there!"4

Taylor: "Have you ever noticed how you sometimes  happened to do the same things at exactly the same time with another person?" 7
 
Carlie: "Mirroring each other on a first date creates the impression of being on the same wavelength. Pay attention not only to what your bodies are doing but also to how your speech patterns match." 8

Look for the eye.12 Eyes tend to look right when the brain is imagining or creating, and left when the brain is recalling or remembering. This relates to right and left sides of the brain – in this context broadly the parts of the brain handling creativity/feelings (right) and facts/memory (left). 13
 
Carlie: "Imagine me and you.14  If you want to talk with me, you will try to attract my attention. The way that you will go about it will be unique to you.¨ 15
 
Taylor: "Only 7% of communication is verbal communication. 38% of it depends on our intonation, or the sound of our voice. The largest chunk of communication is body language, which takes up the remaining 55%." 16
